RESILIENCY CHALLENGE

The "Resiliency Challenge" project was created in the Parma area in partnership with the San Benedetto Institute, La Salle Institute, Edith Stein School, and Laura Sanvitale Institute. The project aims to spread innovative teaching methodologies and create a more resilient school, thanks to the contribution of the Cariparma Foundation.

Over 120 teachers have been trained on innovative teaching methodologies, interactive lesson creation, and the themes of the 2030 Agenda. The project directly involved six middle school classes and eight primary school classes, who worked on concrete projects to co-create visions of the future for a more resilient and sustainable post-COVID world. Over 1,200 male and female students, their families, and students from the Parma area have benefited directly or indirectly from the project.

B FREE - PLASTIC CHALLENGE

B Free – Plastic Challenge is a project to convert consumption methods within schools and drastically reduce the consumption of single-use plastic and waste production. The path involves students, teachers, ATA staff and school management in designing and implementing strategies and best practices to transform the school into a plastic-free environment. The planned change must involve institutions, local businesses, contracting companies, food companies, and school consumer companies.

The path includes meetings with the other participating schools led by mentors who are experts in the field of sustainability.

Created in partnership with the Municipality of Milan, the City of Melegnano, the Don Milani Institute of Tradate, the Liceo Benini of Melegnano, Shareradio and thanks to the contribution of the Cariplo Foundation.

B Circular – from the South Agricultural Park to Martesana

B-Circular is a training program designed to promote Circular Economy and 5R, with the help of "Fondazione di Comunità Milano". The program aims to inspire young students aged 6 to 19 to recognize their potential in changing the communities and environments they belong to. The course helps students develop their knowledge of environmental and social issues, along with specific transversal skills. It involves the practical implementation of an innovative project aimed at reducing waste in their school and/or municipality, with a special focus on reducing food waste.

This program has been created in partnership with Venti Sostenibili, and with the support of the Community Foundation.
